Holiday scrapbook

I am determined to finish an album this year. Our last family holiday was to Kefalonia and I have started an 8x8 album. I'm finding it a little more difficult than the 12x12 as I like to put more piccies on each page. These 2 pages pages show one of the most beautiful views I have ever seen and my Husband's amazement at the size of the fruit and veg available.

Grumpy

I've just completed this page for the Scrapbook Challenge hosted by Lesely over at Craftswap Forum. For this cahllenge we had to use 1 photo, 2 patterned papers, something metal and some journalling. Although this photo was taken quite a few years ago, I still see the same grumpy face on occasions.

More birthday cards

2 more cards, one using the light box and a butterfly stencil and the other using a stamped image and a dab of stickles here and there for a glittery effect.

Sympathy

Using my light box and stencil I have created a sympthay card. Very simple and finished off with paper flowers layered up and secured with a brad.

Go for gold

This card is for the My Time to Craft Challenge.
I have used a stamp that was free on a magazine, triple embossed in gold and pressed in the image. Finished with gold swirly background paper, a rub on message and gold eyelets in the corners.

Happy Valentines Day

My Husband presented me with some lovely flowers and a handmade card. I think it means so much more to receive something handmade with love. While he was out at work today, Aimee helped me to make him his favourite chocolate cake and decorate it. Here are the results.

And there's more.........

Boys cards

I recently received a small order.......Ssshhhhhhh, from Crafts U Love. I loved this little cowboy stamp and the metal brad buddies dinosaurs are just so cute.

What a difference a week makes

Last week I was out taking pictures in the snow, today I'm taking pictures of the floods. You will see from the pictures the same river looking beautiful in the snow and today the same river with it's bank's burst. Also our village park which is now covered in water.

My talented Daughter

My daughter is 9 years old and has recently become interested in making her own jewellery. She also likes to make cards too, when I let her free with my stash. Here is a beautiful memory wire bracelet she has made along with a card, for a friend who's birthday is approaching. I think I'll start putting my order in.

More cards

Here are some cards I've just made. For 2 of the cards I've used my light box again, and I am really pleased with the results. The another is made using a cute teddy bear stamp which I have watercoloured and mounted using shapes cut with my Cricut, and added a few flowers to finish off.

More number cards

2 more Birthday cards using numbers cut from the Cricut. The first is for a friends 40th Birthday that is coming up soon, using a card for a kit from Craftwork Cards. The second is for my Father in Laws 70th Birthday this weekend.

Valentine

Using the free set of stamps from Cardmaking & papercraft magazine, here is a valentine card that I've made. I stamped the heart image twice and then embossed in sea foam white and layered the hearts. Added a rub on message and stamped the little flourish also from the same free set.

Snow

What a lot of snow we've had overnight. We had a sprinkling yesterday, but now have about 6 inches and it's still snowing. OH couldn't go to work as he works outside, my daughter's school is closed and I went into work this morning at 7.45 to ring around the parent's to say the playgroup has closed too. Here are some of the piccies I took on my walk to work...the colour's not good, but it was early morning.

Embossing

I hadn't used my light box for ages (actually I don't think I've ever used it). So I was determined to make a couple of cards using the few stencils I had. I'm quite please with them
