Penny Black

At Ally Pally last week, I treated myself to a sheet of clear stamps from Penny Black. They are the first Penny Black stamps I've had and they are so cute. Here are a few of the cards (I've made so many) that I have created using the stamps and my pile of scraps.

Aimee's photo frame

My daughter Aimee decided to do some crafting this week. She first took an old jigsaw piece which she painted with pink acylic paint. Used 2 butterfly peeloffs and coloured them in adding stickles for a bit of sparkle. She then added a photo of herself on her 1st birthday and a letter A, finishing off with a piece of ribbon to hang it.

I think it's a great piece.

MTTC - Denim

The challenge at My time to Craft this week is denim, so I picked this lovely little cowboy stamped and gave him denim jeans and waistcoat.

One stamp - 3 cards

I challenged myself to use an old stamp. So I found this cupcake stamp which I watercoloured in various colours to make 3 colour variations of the same card.

April scrapbook challenge

Lesley's challenge on Craft Swap Forum this month is to include:-

Water themed photos - my daughter in the pool on holiday in Turkey

Something round - patterned paper cut into a circle with the cricut

Something blue - a hand cut corner or the brads

Some stitching - doodled stitching on the blue corner

A successful day

Hooray.....I've crafted again. I don't where my mojo had gone but it turned up again whilst I was doing my housework. I have put my cricut to good use again today to cut out some lettering for some simple named cards, one for a Mum, I don't know whose though and one for Mr & Mrs that could be used for either wedding or anniversary I suppose. I have also made a 'man' card using a stamped image that I've watercoloured and a Nan card using elements of a Cosmo Cricket TSV that I bought a while ago but haven't used much of.

It was also my Husband's birthday today and I'm ashamed to say I bought a card.
